Welcome to the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF
TRADITIONAL ARTISTS. Our mission is to advance the
careers of professional artists working in the
traditional manner of fine art, through sanctioned Fund
Raising Museum events, i.e. Sale & Exhibitions.
American Society of Traditional Artists
was formed to showcase the talents of the many
professional fine artists of today, irrespective of
gender, ethnicity, or political views. Judgments are
based upon the superiority of the artwork, no mater how
difficult that is to clarify.
American Society of Traditional Artists,
also known as ASTA, offers our members an opportunity to
advance their career through their affiliation with our
organization. ASTA goals are to recognize the best
traditional realist artists working today, creating
exhibition opportunities in major museums, providing
marketing and technical assistance to our members, to
offer a bridge between art collectors and the highest
quality traditional art, created by our members.
Our organization is not for everyone with
a paintbrush, our membership selection process is a
cautious process designed to favor those that meet our
high standards of technique, talent, and creativity. It
requires skills drawn from deep within the tradition of
fine art, dating back to the Renaissance, the Flemish
Masters, the Dutch who were the Masters of Light, just
to name a few.
We hope to nourish this talent and give
the artist that have ventured into this traditional form
of working an opportunity to showcase their work in a
National Art Museum.
